If there's a wrong way to chew gum, there's a right way.
Use good judgement to know when and where to chew gum. In a formal setting it may not be ideal.
When you need a little pick me up, chewing gum is a temporary reliever for hunger. When you need to refresh you breath, chewing or sticking a piece of gum lessens bad breath.
Don't smack! Before you start listen because if you can hear it others can too.
If you are outside, by yourself or in a relaxed setting blow the bubble, but if you're around others be mindful of their space.
Do not dispose of gum in public spaces. When in doubt, take the wrapper back out. Just put it in and throw it away.
See if you can leave, politely address the problems or invest in headphones.
