VIDEO: Running back does amazing flip over defender in high school practice

UPDATE: This video was used for an AT&T commercial.

The video above was brought to our attention by Deadspin, which contacted the uploader of the video for more information but received no response.

We've yet to figure out where this took place, but it's impressive and Jerome Simpson would be proud, especially if it isn't staged.

There are reasons to be skeptical, most notably the slot receiver's curious flop at the 9-second mark.

Why did he disengage his defender at that precise moment? Was he worried he would be called for a holding penalty? Was he practicing the "Stop, Drop and Roll" procedure he learned during a fire safety assembly earlier that day?

Or, was he clearing the launchpad for his teammate in a planned stunt?

DUN DUN DUUUNNNN.

We want answers. If you have any, please leave them in the comments or tweet @USATODAYhss.
