Erin Andrews followed in the footsteps of her father, Emmy-winning journalist Steven Andrews, by becoming a sportscaster. She got her start as a freelance reporter with Fox Sports Florida in 2000 and joined ESPN in 2004. Erin later joined Fox Sports in 2012 before being named the lead sideline reporter for the NFL’s broadcasting team. Erin came in third place on season 10 of Dancing With the Stars with professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy in 2010. She went on to cohost the show from 2014 to 2019 with Tom Bergeron.

The sportscaster has been open about the emotional trauma she endured as the victim of a stalking incident, in which a man named Michael David Barrett filmed her nude without consent through a hotel peephole and posted the videos online in 2009. Barrett was charged with interstate stalking and was sentenced to 30 months in prison. He was released in July 2012. In 2016, Erin was awarded $55 million in her civil lawsuit against Barrett and the Nashville Marriott hotel.

Erin married former professional hockey player Jarret Stoll in 2017. The couple welcomed son Mack in 2023 via surrogacy.
