FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Casselton Veterinary Services responded to recent criticism in a social media post, Thursday night.

Valley News Live received several whistleblower complaints over the last few weeks, alleging mistreatment of animals. Valley News Live reached out to the clinic several times, asking them to explain their part of the story, but they refused to comment.

However, in a Facebook posted Thursday evening, the clinic wrote, in part, “The unjust criticisms and false accusations hurled at us through social media and a local news outlet not only shook our confidence but also deeply affected our morale. It has been a period of immense strain, where each day felt like an uphill battle.”

They add, “We are using these experiences as learning opportunities to improve ourselves every day. As humans, we recognize that mistakes can happen, and we are committed to learning and growing from these challenges. We strive to enhance our communication and practices continuously, ensuring that we evolve and better serve our community and their beloved pets.”
