Scam post circulating in FM area about missing boy

MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) - A scam post is circulating in the area, claiming that Moorhead Police found a lost child and couldn’t identify his parents.
It claims that a 3-year-old was found by “Deputy Ryan Braidley” and the boy says his mom’s name is “Emily”.
Police Captain Deric Swenson tells Valley News Live the post isn’t true, and they have no deputy by that name.
The scam is going on nationwide. The post doesn’t explicitly ask for money or personal information; but rather, it’s reported that scammers can gain notoriety and in some cases collect information once you click or share the post.
Experts suggest doing researching before sharing posts and reporting scams to Facebook.
