Steph Curry is gearing up for the 2024 Paris Olympics, and he’s doing it in style with the new Under Armour Curry Flow 12s. The 4-time NBA Champion debuted the upcoming model and two new USA-themed colorways during practice at Team USA Camp in Las Vegas.
The first pair of the Curry Flow 12s boasts a unique design with a low-cut upper featuring a navy blue base, tongue, and heel. White accents the kick’s outer sole with pops of red to highlight the basketball sneaker. As a tribute to his current place in NBA history, the phrase “Greatest Shooter Ever” is subtly stitched into the sneaker’s tongue.
Steph’s second pair of Curry Flow 12s features a predominantly white colorway, with hints of red adding to the sneaker’s sleek design. The white colorway also features a red and navy blue gradient effect on the kick’s outer sole. Both of the sneakers are stylized and designed with Under Armour’s Flow-cushioned midsole.
According to journalist Nick DePaula, the Curry 12s, available in both patriotic colorways, is set for a public release on Wednesday (Aug. 14) on UnderArmour.com.
The men’s Team USA basketball squad will embark on their quest for the gold on Sunday (July 28) at 11:15 AM EDT. Their first game is against Serbia in Group C which may include 1x NBA Champion, Nikola Jokić. But the USA isn’t unfamiliar with champions, as the national team has a couple of champions and rising stars of their own.
USA’s men’s basketball team for the Olympics includes LeBron James, Bam Adebayo, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton, Joel Embiid, Kawhi Leonard, and Curry. The team will be coached by Steve Kerr, Mark Few, Erik Spoelstra, and Tyronn Lue.
