and the nominees are

Helen Mirren, Rami Malek, and Trumbo Score Nominations at the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards

The actors have spoken. The largest nominating body within the Academy Awards has issued its nominees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards in television and film. There are a lot of pleasant surprises, including a nomination for Sarah Silverman for I Smile Back; one for summer darling Rami Malek for his work in Mr. Robot; and Helen Mirren, who received not one but two nominations, for Woman in Gold (lead) and Trumbo (supporting). Trumbo in particular showed the widest support from the SAG, scoring three nominations total, which includes a lead acting nomination for Bryan Cranston and another for ensemble. All of this should make your Oscar predictions extra-fun! Here’s the full list of nominees:
