From getting his mail via dial-up internet to selling holograms, Tom Hanks has come a long way. His new movie, A Hologram for the King, based on the Dave Eggers novel of the same name (one of two upcoming Eggers adaptations Hanks is starring in), is about a failed American businessman who travels to Saudi Arabia to pitch a three-dimensional holographic meeting system to the king. From the looks of the trailer, he eat-pray-loves his way around with some camels, his taxi-driver friend, and Sarita Choudhury, or as we know her, the smartest and most beautiful lady from Homeland. Check out the trailer above and pay close attention to 1:50–1:51; that’s definitely a You’ve Got Mail nod, right?
