Who knew the know-nothing King in the North had capitalist ambition? Kit Harington, who portrayed the iconic bastard Jon Snow in the Game of Thrones series, pivots to green-energy tech in the upcoming season of HBO’s Industry. Season three picks up where the last arc left off, according to the press release. Pierpont, the show’s high-powered global bank, partners with Sir Henry Muck (Harington) for the IPO of Lumi, his tech company, leading to intrigue that slithers into media, finance, and even the government. In the teaser, we see Mr. Muck getting articles taken down, gambling away his worries, and deflecting from the question of whether or not his company is even profitable. Elsewhere in the British finance world, Harper (Myha’la) looks to a gig with FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg) following her departure from Pierpont. Her old boss, played by Ken Leung, who’s refusing to give her a reference, repeats a mantra with his male subordinate (Harry Lawtey) in the teaser: “I’m a man, and I’m relentless.” You have to be to do this kind of work.
