As director, Emily leads the development, oversight and growth of Wellington’s private credit business and its integration within the firm. Alongside the Private Investments Leadership Team, she is responsible for determining areas for expansion within private credit and ensuring that we have appropriate talent and infrastructure to support growth. She plays a critical role in ensuring that our Private Credit Team has the investment capabilities, fiduciary oversight, and infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our clients. She is a member of the firm’s Multi-Strategy Review Group.

Previously, Emily was an investment director, working closely with fixed income investors to help ensure the integrity of their investment approaches, manage business issues, and meet with clients, prospects, and consultants to communicate our investment philosophy, strategy, positioning, and performance. Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2014, she worked at Federal Street Advisors as the director of research (2013 – 2014) and in various research roles (2006 – 2013). Before that, she was an investment analyst at Bain & Company (2003 – 2006).

Emily earned her MBA from the Universidad de Alcalá (2002) and her dual BA in international relations and Hispanic language and literatures, magna cum laude, from Boston University (2001). She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
