CT man allegedly put tracking device on another person’s vehicle. He’s charged with stalking.

A Connecticut man is facing charges after police allege he placed an unauthorized tracking device on a vehicle, officials said.

Lorenc Cenko, 48, of Wethersfield, has been arrested and charged with electronic stalking and criminal violation of a protective order, according to a police statement.

Cromwell police began an investigation after a person reported finding a GPS tracking device inside their vehicle on May 19. After a lengthy investigation, evidence allegedly showed that the device was placed by a person that was known to the person. Cenko was arrested on July 12, police said.

Cenko posted a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on July 15.
