    COVID positive illegal migrants creating a super spreader event at the border. Illegal immigrants are being tested for the coronavirus after they are released into the general population to travel to cities and towns across the U.S. This is counter to how people entering the U.S. via air travel are handled. In order for citizens and non-citizens to enter the United States through air travel, there are strict COVID-19 policies in place, including proof of a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board a flight to the United States. Why isn't that same standard taken into account for illegal migrants who are caught and then released at the southern border?

    NextDoor has anti "soapbox" policies. It's a good resource for finding missing pets and learning about crime in your neighborhood.

    I think everyone is partially right when it comes to the fires. Climate change is definitely causing a lot of the problems but the state and federal government need to step up their game to find solutions like clearing out the dead debris. Biting the hand of the local energy company seems like it would be a bad idea as well. I think everyone needs to work together to solve the problem. Hopefully some of this infrastructure bill will go to hiring people to work on the problem while adding jobs.

    Stereotyping any group of people is wrong. That is one of the problems with stats, they tend to group everything together and usually don't tell the whole story. I keep hearing on here that stats don't lie. They very seldom tell the complete truth either and can be easily manipulated.

    Look at Wally B and Karn Evil for example. How many times have they generalized "the left" as everyone that is not a right wing extremist and accused them of wanting to defund the police and support black violence when that is really limited to an extremely small minority of the people they consider to be left. They are dishonest in such a ridiculous manner that it makes them look unintelligent and then they get angry when someone calls them out on just how unintelligent their posts are. Their whole guilty by association is both obnoxious and childish.

In the meantime I understand being a descendant of a certain ancestral background of people that has done the worst to people of every race, creed, culture from all over the globe is a hard pill to swallow.

    Feb 1973, a Navy jet crashed into apartments at 1814 Central Ave.  The pilot and 10 ppl on the ground were killed. We were watching TV when our house shook. Dad and I went outside to look, just in time to see a dark orange fireball rise over the houses. I will never forget that sight.

    Not really sure ehere I stand on the gas blower ban. Like, obviously they're annoying. I cant stand the sound as much as anyone else. And I guess it seems like they pollute and can be harmful to one's health. But I don't like governmental bans.

    The lack of acknowledgement that the nuclear family is the cornerstone of a thriving, Western society. Should be strived for and revered.

    I'll get the "obvious' " out the way: plenty of great people have been products of non-nuclear families. Plenty of shit people have been the products of nuclear families. If you are not part of a non-nuclear family currently, doesn't mean you're wrong or a bad person. If you are part of a nuclear family currently, you still got a lot of work ahead.
