‘American Graffiti’
Before Star Wars, there was American Graffiti, a George Lucas film that cast a wistful eye back to 1962, specifically the end of summer in Modesto, California. Featuring an all-star cast of (the then relatively unknown) Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, Cindy Williams, and even Wolfman Jack, American Graffiti was adapted for television into the classic Happy Days.
