‘Arrested Development’
March 14 is the final day to watch Arrested Development on Netflix. Premiering in 2003, Mitchell Hurwitz’s critically adored series about a once-wealthy family immersed in financial and personal turmoil is a modern television classic. The first three seasons are a dense tapestry of incisive comedy, deftly blending extreme silliness with complex brilliance. Almost 20 years after its debut, Arrested Development remains one of the smartest, funniest sitcoms ever created. The cult comedy may be leaving Netflix, but thankfully, Seasons 1-3 are still streaming on Hulu.
