‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’

It’s time to dig into the archives and rewatch Brooklyn Nine-Nine, trust me. The political procedural comedy will have you not only bellyache laughing, but delivers enough suspense to keep you watching until the end. The series is centered around a NYC Police Department in Brooklyn, the 99th precinct, and follow the life and story of detective Jake Peralta (played by Andy Samberg) and his complicated relationship with his commanding officer Captain Raymond Holt (played by Andre Braugher). With eight seasons, a plethora of notable cast members, and numerous accolades, the show is a true testament of just great television work. Not to mention the fact that some of the funniest episodes of the show are the halloween episodes, which is a statement I whole heartedly stand behind, therefore making this the perfect time to get back into the ever entertaining story of the carefree hothead detective.

‘The Parent Trap’

I recently saw a trending post spotlighting the "Lindsay Lohan cinematic universe," which for many 2000s babies like myself, is considered formative filmography. Seeing pictures of Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis on the set of the confirmed Freaky Friday sequel certainly scratched a nostalgic itch, as well, and while I have already recommended the 2003 ...
