‘Fat Man and Little Boy’
August 6, 1945 was a date that forever changed geopolitics, and our world, forever. That day, ‘Little Boy,’ an atomic bomb, was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Two days later, ‘Fat Boy’ landed on Nagasaki, resulting in Japan’s surrender and the end of WWII. The 1989 film Fat Man and Little Boy depicts the challenges faced by the Manhattan Project and its leader, General Leslie Groves, played by Paul Newman.
