‘Firestarter’
If you ask me, Firestarter has always been an unfairly maligned Stephen King adaption. Doting dad with telepathic powers, Andy (David Keith) and his 9-year-old daughter with pyrokinetic abilities, Charlie, are on the run from “The Shop,” a government agency (led by Martin Sheen!) that wants to perform experiments on them. When ruthless mercenary John Rainbird (George C. Scott) finally captures them, Andy and Charlie must use their cunning to escape, leading to a tragic, truly explosive, and totally 80s ending.
