‘Infinity Train’
Try not to be too sad that it’s over. Be happy that it happened. Book 4 marks the final season of Infinity Train, one of the most ambitious, narratively complex, and emotionally resonant shows brought to television. Set before the events of the first season, this last installment follows Min-Gi (Johnny Young) and Ryan (Sekai Murashige), two best friends and aspiring musicians who have started to drift apart. After they board the train they’re forced to face their greatest challenges yet, questioning both their loyalty to each other and how dynamic they want to be in their own lives. Infinity Train’s abrupt ending leaves behind a countless list of unanswered questions. But as far as endings go, this quiet and sweet tale of friendship is a great one.
