‘Interview With the Vampire’ Season 2
Interview With the Vampire Season 2 continues its proud tradition of giving us the full Anne Rice experience. That is, this is a show about immortal beings caught up in the minefield of their painful memories, emboldened by their superpowers to behave like egomaniacal gods, and so lonely in their exile that they all just long for connection. Season 2 continues human journalist Daniel Molloy’s (Eric Bogosian) idiosyncratic interview sessions with vampire Louis de Point du Lac (Jacob Anderson)…and’s Louis’s boyfriend, the vampire Armand (Assad Zaman). Last season, Louis explained how his first love, Lestat (Sam Reid) created him only to perish by his and pint-sized vampire Claudia’s (Delainey Hayles) design. Now, Louis has to reckon with his confusing memories of his time living in post-World War II Paris with Claudia and their new coven. As you might expect, all is not what it appears…but it’s all glorious to behold. Interview With the Vampire Season 2 is a decadent drama that will seduce your senses.
