‘Jurassic Park III’
Everyone agrees that the Jurassic Park series isn’t very good. The first one is implausible. The second one, outright bad. I don’t even know why I’m laying this out, because everyone knows this. All of us. But there’s one movie in the dinosaurs-run-amok franchise that is inarguably the greatest, and that’s Jurassic Park III. Directed by Joe Johnston, the movie finds William H. Macy and Téa Leoni recruiting Sam Neill’s returning to rescue their kids from Isla Soma. Over a taut 92 minutes, a family reunites and we get some great dinosaur action. As an old Netflix envelope once said, “More like your ass kicked park!” And you know what? That envelope was right.
