‘Love Is Blind: Japan’
If you’ve watched Love Is Blind and wondered what the show would be like if the pods were populated with a bunch of sincere sweethearts who treat the situation with the utmost respect, you have to watch Love Is Blind: Japan. Seriously — the majority of the singles on this international spinoff approach every date with the straightforwardness of a job interview. Everyone takes notes, everyone gets dressed up for their date with a person’s voice, and most of the cast are in their 30s — or older! We’re talking about smart adults who know what they want, and what they want is real, lasting love. It’s nowhere near the messiness of the original, but Love Is Blind: Japan quadruples down on the romance. Also, the entire living/pod setting is absolutely gorgeous, especially compared to the dimly lit CB2 showroom of the US version.
