‘Pretty Woman’
It is impossible to be in a bad mood while watching Garry Marshall’s rom-com classic, Pretty Woman. I’ve probably seen this movie over 50 times, and no matter the viewing circumstance, it STILL feels fresh and entertaining. I would also argue that Julia Roberts gives the most charismatic performance of her long career as hooker with a heart of gold, Vivian Ward. As an audience member, you laugh and cry with her, but most importantly, you fall in love with her. Like Richard Lewis, the hardened corporate raider played by Richard Gere, America found her impossible to resist.
