‘Sexy Beasts’

If you’re looking for some ridiculous reality TV junk food to snack on now that Too Hot to Handle is over, you really can’t go wrong with Sexy Beasts. It’s the cross between Love Connection and The Masked Singer that no one asked for, and it’s every bit as ridiculous as that premise sounds. To hear Sexy Beasts tell it, this is a show about people who are either sick of being judged by their looks or people who are ready to look past looks to see the person underneath. The solution: cover everyone in borderline creepy, way too realistic masks and prosthetics so they look like beavers, rhinos, and fairies. In practice, though, Sexy Beasts is still a bunch of ridiculously hot singles going on dates and making out like on all the other dating shows. Except this time, you get to see a mandrill make out with a demon. What a time to be alive!
