‘Sick’
Tired of pandemic content? I get it, but I implore you to re-consider and watch the nasty little slasher Sick on Peacock. Co-written by Scream king Kevin Williamson and Katelyn Crabb and directed by Black Summer EP John Hyams, this pulse-pounding 83-minute horror thriller follows college students Parker (Gideon Adlon) and Miri (Bethlehem Million) as they go to the isolated cabin owned by Parker’s family to quarantine together during the early days of the pandemic. Even though they are seeking safety, they find themselves in greater danger than they ever could have anticipated. Full of thrills, chills and a twist so wild it’ll make you scream, Sick is the first great horror movie of 2023 (sorry M3gan.)
