‘Sound Of My Voice’
Brit Marling superfans like myself will be busy spending their weekends binge-watching Part 2 of The OA. If that task seems too daunting (the first episode is 68 minutes long!), get inspiration by watching Sound of My Voice, the first project from Marling and her The OA co-creator/collaborator Zal Batmanglij. In Sound of My Voice, Marling plays Maggie, a woman who claims to be a time-traveler from war-torn and famine-filled 2054 and has cult-like acolytes that follow her. When documentarians Peter (Christopher Denham) and Lorna (Nicole Vicius) infiltrate the group to expose her as the fraud they believe her to be, the two quickly realize that Maggie could be telling the truth.
