‘The Company You Keep’
America’s dad is dead. Again! This Is Us star Milo Ventimglia is returning to ABC like you’ve never seen him before. Instead of playing another beloved patriarch like the late Jack Pearson, the actor is embracing his inner bad boy as con-man Charlie Nicoletti in The Company You Keep. The sexy heist series — based on the 2019 South Korean drama My Fellow Citizens! — follows Charlie, his sister Birdie (Sarah Wayne Callies), his mom Fran (Polly Draper), and his dad Leo (William Fichtner) as they run their illegal family business and try to stay out of trouble. When Charlie falls hard for Emma (Catherine Haena Kim), an undercover CIA officer, his unconventional profession becomes a lot riskier. But the two are so transfixed by their electric chemistry that they fail to realize their opposing career paths. In addition to flexing his edgier side on screen, Ventimiglia executive produces the thrilling series, which premieres on ABC Sunday, February 19. Come for Ventimiglia. Stay for his charming dynamic with Kim, engaging heists, and a perfect Prison Break reunion, of course.
