‘The Good Fight’
In its third season, The Good Fight has graduated from good TV to masterpiece material. CBS All Access’s first original scripted drama has long been hyped by critics, but this season is so good it should finally puncture the mainstream. Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) continues her personal war against the Trump administration and finds herself closer to Trump’s inner circle than ever before. Meanwhile, Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) is juggling the joys of motherhood with the rush of professional competition. Finally, Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie) is finally start to feel herself just as she collides with a chaotic Roy Cohn-like character played with gusto by Michael Sheen. The Good Fight is beyond good now; it’s simply the best.
