‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’
Venom: Let There Be Carnage may not be in the MCU, but it’s still an epic feat of madness, chaos, and two best friends (read: lovers?). While most superhero films today clock in at lengthy two and a half hours, sometimes even surpassing that, Let There Be Carnage changes the game with a tight 90 minutes. You don’t even need to watch the first Venom movie to enjoy this romp. All you need to know? Eddie (Tom Hardy) has been possessed by enemy/bestie/lover Venom, and the pair have an interesting relationship. The sequel doesn’t take any time to linger on dull plots, instead bouncing around with a complete and utter recklessness you won’t find in any other superhero film. It’s highly entertaining. And we won’t spoil the post-credits scene, but if you’re interested in seeing Spider-Man: No Way Home, you’re definitely going to want to watch this one.
