‘Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit’
The first feature-film-length adventure of the cheese-loving Wallace and his always put-upon dog Gromit is a delight. The duo is successfully working humanely taking down rabbits as part of their company Anti-Pesto, when Wallace has the brilliant idea to use his hatred of vegetables to brainwash the rabbits. It all goes haywire, leading to a Hammer Horror-inspired attack on the town’s giant vegetables, the monstrous rabbit of the title, and more puns than you can shake a Wensleydale at. Parents be warned: there are a surprising amount of adult jokes flying fast and furious between the stop-motion animated antics. But the Aardman Animation flick still stands as a delightful film the whole family can enjoy.
