‘You’ Season 2
I thought the first season of You was… fine. I understood why people loved binge-watching it as soon as it became available on Netflix. But my expectations for the second season were lower, as I expected to watch a couple episodes just to see how it started and then back away slowly before Joe Goldberg could lock me in a glass cage. Except, whoops! The episodes took me prisoner and I never wanted to escape. Season 2 leans into Joe’s creepiness, fills his life with dynamic women, and presents us with the year’s best fucked-up love story. It’s even more deliciously twisted and addicting and will only further complicate your Penn Badgley feelings long into the new year and beyond.
