There’s certainly no shortage of seasonal binge-watching options for Thanksgiving break. Apple TV+ has Ted Lasso; Hulu offers the first five episodes of A Teacher; and the first three seasons of the exceptional series Search Party are available on HBO Max. But if you’re looking for a feel-good romantic drama, the second season of Virgin River is about to premiere on Netflix.
Debuting in December of 2019 on the streamer, the series follows a recently widowed big-city nurse who, looking for a fresh start, moves to the quaint California town of Virgin River. The first season quickly gained an impressive following and currently boasts a 78% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Netflix is based out of California, so the second season of Virgin River should be available to stream at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (3:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time). VIRGIN RIVER SEASON 2 CAST: ANY NEW ADDITIONS?
Yes! Sarah Dugdale (In the Shadow of the Moon, Arrow, Hollow in the Land) will portray Lizzie, a character Deadline describes as a “powder keg of cunning, beauty and unbridled impulsivity” who moves to Virgin River after being busted for shoplifting.
Also, Grayson Gurnsey (Ricky) has been promoted to series regular for the show’s sophomore season.
