The Biden administration has paused a controversial plan that was flying hundreds of thousands of immigrants to the country per year after massive fraud was discovered in the program. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed Friday that it temporarily paused its issuing of advance travel authorizations that allow up to 30,000 nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela (CHNV) to enter the U.S. each month. The sudden freeze of the contentious program comes after an internal DHS report circulated showing fraud among the sponsors volunteering to pay for the migrants to come to the country, a source familiar with the report told Fox News. According to a DHS spokesperson, the freeze will give the agency time to investigate if fraud has occurred in their supporter applications - which are forms filled by individuals who 'agree to provide financial support to a beneficiary and undergo background checks.' But a number of individual sponsors signed up to support hundreds of migrants, prompting concerns at DHS over whether the system is being abused.

J.D. Vance slammed the 'dishonest' media  on Wednesday when he held his first campaign fundraising event since joining the Trump ticket. He demonstrated the attack credentials that impressed Donald Trump in front of about 200 supporters gathered at a science center on the shores of Lake Michigan. 'The media keeps on saying they want somebody to tone down the temperature,' he said. 'Well, Donald Trump got shot and he toned down the temperature. That's what a real leader does.'

The cameraman revealed he was trying to capture the huge crowd waiting to watch the Republican nominee speak, but quickly realized he had caught more terrifying detail. It follows a series of stunning developments that raise more questions about the massive security failure that led to the attempt on Trump's life.

Joe Biden revealed the one reason he would exit the presidential race as more and more Democrats call for him to step aside. He said it would take his doctor telling him directly that he had a medical condition that made that necessary.  'If I had some medical condition that emerged, if somebody, if doctors came to me and said, you got this problem and that problem,' Biden said in an interview with BET news.
