Discount designer divas! Drew Barrymore and Jessica Chastain get giddy at the Hollywood launch for Marni at H&M
With fantastic film careers under their sparkly belts and plenty of stash in the bank, Drew Barrymore and Jessica Chastain could be forgiven for splurging on overpriced catwalk fodder.
However, in these times of austerity measures, it might seem a bit tasteless to spend hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars on garments that cost a pittance to make.
So The Help star, 30 , and Drew, 36 , got involved with a bit of discount designer fun last night at the at H&M Collection Launch held at Lloyd Wright’s Sowden House on Friday in Los Angeles.

They were joined by Milla Jovovich, Imogen Poots, Freida Pinto, Glee star Dianna Agron and Phil Collins' daughter Lily, who is the star of the forthcoming Mirror Mirror.
Most attendees were dressed in the stunning, and very affordable collection.
Newly engaged Drew was rocking out in a silk dress that retails for £69.00 (around $110), while Jessica's green-print frock could be yours for £79.00 ($125).
They were treated to an exclusive performance by Bryan Ferry, 66 , and the campaign, starring the beautiful Imogen Poots was played throughout the night.

According to Grazia: 'There are lots of bold, signature prints in simple shapes, cut from luxe fabrics.' in the collection.
They add: 'Tribal patterned blouses and trousers are cut from silk and the patent leather tee is ACTUALLY leather.'
Drew, who paired her dress with a £24.99 ($39) perspex necklace, revealed JustJared.com about her Valentine's Night with Will Kopelman was equally unfussy.
She headed to a long-standing LA burger joint where the main meals cost no more than five bucks.
'I went to Apple Pan [with my fiance Will Kopelman] on Pico,' Drew said, 'it’s an institution basically and you HAVE to try it. You’ll love it!'

Drew, her production partner Chris Miller, and Molly Shannon, who are working on a project together, spent the evening locked in conversation.
Jessica was accompanied by her friend Rachel Shane, who executive produced her movie Wettest Country, at the party.
She told JustJared.com: 'I’ve been working on Kathryn Bigelow‘s [untitled Bin Laden] movie in Jordan.
'I just got back, so I’m still jetlagged. I feel like I’m hallucinating now! After the Oscars, I go to India to shoot more of the exteriors for the film.
The script is so incredible but they’re keep it really quiet. Even my manager and agents haven’t read it!'
