Stranger Things scene stealer Millie Bobby Brown shared a two-minute video of herself shaving her head to play Jane 'Eleven' Ives on social media Sunday.
The British 12-year-old is certainly causing a buzz as the traumatized psychokinetic girl in the Netflix binge-watching favorite, which began streaming July 15.
'My mom was like, "No! That's not happening." And I was like, "Mom. You need to chill out; it's gonna grow back,"' the Spanish-born, Florida-raised starlet told ELLE this week.

'Here it is!' Stranger Things scene stealer Millie Bobby Brown shared a two-minute video of herself shaving her head to play Jane 'Eleven' Ives on social media Sunday
The Spanish-born, Florida-raised starlet told ELLE this week: 'My mom was like, "No! That's not happening." And I was like, "Mom. You need to chill out; it's gonna grow back." My mom was against it'
The twin brothers (R) wrote in EW last month: 'When the day of the haircut finally arrived, Millie’s mom brought out a camcorder, while her dad ran away with tears in his eyes, unable to watch. It was a pretty dramatic scene'
'My mom was against it. And me and my dad were like, "Come on. It's fine!" Today, actually, we went to an Indian restaurant and someone was like, "Hello, young man." That was like the 500th time someone called me a boy, and I'm really fine with it.'
In order to better convince Millie to chop her waist-length locks, directing duo Matt & Ross Duffer brought up how 'bada**' Charlize Theron looked as Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road.
'Millie agreed; Charlize looked bada**. And that was it: She agreed to buzz it all off,' the twin brothers wrote inEW last month.
'When the day of the haircut finally arrived, Millie’s mom brought out a camcorder, while her dad ran away with tears in his eyes, unable to watch. It was a pretty dramatic scene. But also very quick.

'Within 10 minutes we had shaved it all off and slapped a fake "11" tattoo on Millie's wrist. Millie looked at herself in the mirror, gave her best Furiosa scream - and Eleven was born.'
It was Stephen King who gave the Duffer Bros. the idea (among others) to cast Brown in their homage to eighties flicks like E.T., The Goonies, Poltergeist, Halloween, and Firestarter.
'Millie Brown, the girl in [BBC America's] Intruders, is terrific. Is it my imagination, or are child actors a lot better than they used to be?' the 68-year-old horror novelist tweeted back in 2014.
The precocious tween was way more excited about her edgy buzzcut than devouring countless Eggo waffles on the Georgia set.

'They are absolutely disgusting!' Millie - who boasts 498K followers - confessed to ELLE.
'At first we had the blueberry and I was like, "This is nice! I like this!" And then I was like, "Okay. Now I need a spit bucket. I'm going to throw up."'
The Thai boxing enthusiast added: 'I would love [a second season]. I think all of us would.'
At this point, Netflix has yet to renew Stranger Things, and it's even less clear how exactly Eleven - who was based on E.T. - can return after vanishing into ash with the monster in the finale.
