This place is a great little stop for a quick meal. The food always good and well prepared.
They have great donuts that I can't have. Alright I've had s couple. The good I do suggest the bacon maple donut dam it's good.
24 hrs. A day so it works well with my schedule.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Takiyah M.New Orleans, LA069Oct 13, 2018
This place is terrible!!! Please people beware!!! They should have a sign that say "whites only". Yelp should have a zero star option. I walked in on a Sunday morning wasn't greeted, received weird looks and once my order was finally taken.. I was told that I couldn't get a certain omelette because the mix was pre-made. So I asked if I could get my omelette specially made and I was told no. What really took the cake I handed my card over and the very very very very OLD lady behind the desk who was rude from the start, placed my card on the counter top and not back in my hand that was waiting on it.
I've told ALL my co-workers and will continue to spread the word. "WHITES ONLY"Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Matthew L.Jefferson, LA205261153Mar 18, 2019
I come here a lot for the Saturday donut pickup for football players since it is so close to where I work. The donuts are always good.
I finally tried their breakfast. The food was pretty decent and freshly made. They were out of a lot of items but I was still able to get a pretty decent breakfast/brunch! Again, the donuts are top notch and their breakfast is decent enough to get you through.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 25, 2015Updated review

Extremely rude and horrible customer service. Talked to me like I was unimportant. Definitely won't be coming back here. Not a good first impression.

Convenient location, no or broken A/C unit, donuts are not covered. Some already cooked items have been sitting for days uncovered. Multiple flies in the facility. Some staff will go smoke a cigarette and return to serve food without washing hands. No uniforms or anything to identify an employee or customer. Do not purchase the $2 bag of donuts sitting by the cash register they are most likely almost one week old. Some food items are EXTREMELY overpriced. $4.89 for 6pc. Chicken Nuggets w/ fries & fountain drink (most likely to be disgusting due to lack of carbonation.) Tiger burger jumps from $8.95 menu price to $12.95 after taxes.

Knocking them down two stars, because they've gone down hill.
The now only have chocolate donuts on the weekends and not during the week. I've never heard of such a thing. Even the donuts they do have really aren't all that great. I think I'm going to be going to Terrytown Donuts from here on out. Sorry, boo.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0May 11, 2011Previous reviewThe only reason I ever go to this place is for two things and two things only: mini "castleburger" type burgers and super warm and soft donut holes.
This is the only place, that I'm aware of, that has the mini hamburgers, on the Westbank. You can get them with or without cheese and they are made to order. They are so good and SUPER cheap.
I also love the donut holes here. They are never hard, like they are at other places and they are always super sweet, warm and soft.
The only donut I have ever gotten here was a chocolate with sprinkles (my fave) and it was delicious. If I still ate donuts, I would definitely get them from here. You can keep Krispy Kreme.
I am never let down by this place. - Bobby B.New Orleans, LA1566138Aug 16, 2014Updated review
I've given up on this place.
Since my last review, we've been back twice. The first time we gave up after waiting an hour for our simple breakfasts. We just left. Not worth waiting an hour for breakfast.
This time was even worse.
We were seated and ordered our food quickly enough. The waitress brought our coffee and promptly forgot about us for 25 minutes. I finally took our coffee cups to the counter and another waitress filled them. 10 minutes later (35 from when we got there) I went up to the counter to get a water refill (she never came to our table to check on us at all).
FInally after 45 minutes, I went up to see what was taking so long. Another waitress said the cook had finally gotten to our order. 10 minutes later we were actually getting up to leave and our waitress finally waddled back with our "food".
The girly ordered the hot sausage breakfast sandwich (which was salty, soggy and not Patton's sausage).
I ordered 1 egg over medium, a biscuit and gravy and an order of bacon.
What I got was 2 eggs (one over easy and one over hard), bacon and salt flavored glue over a hard tack biscuit.
I sent that back and told the waitress how bad it was. It was saltier than the bacon and their bacon was pretty salty. We heard the cook defend the order. We were on the other side of the wall where she (cooks might not be the right word) does stuff, saying the gravy was straight from the bag and she didn't add salt. Straight from the bag??? What the heck?
I have a feeling that almost everything that CAN be frozen and microwaved is being microwaved. It was a constant sound of it dinging that could be heard throughout the "meal".
A couple came in about 5 minutes after us sat there with no refills and no breakfasts for about 30 minutes and decided to go get some food somewhere else. I really wish we would have saved ourselves the trouble and gone somewhere else too.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0Sep 30, 2012Previous reviewWhile I would still go here for breakfast, there is no way you could drag me here for lunch.
They didn't microwave my mini-burger above the point where the center was not ice...and sadly, yes. I said microwave. They are the frozen little things that you can probably buy at the grocery store with a "Pale Palace" type thing on it. Probably a Cyscos version. The waiter admitted it was a pre-made that they tried to nuke.
And their Kulaches were nothing more than Johnson-er..town Better with Cheddar type of "sausage" cut in half and wrapped in thick dough. They didn't microwave that one above chilly either.
The girly's Tiger burger had no stripes to it. Or at least it didn't have the feta on there.
It was at least above room temp.
I guess their kitchen focuses on breakfast and making doughnuts and that's fine. If you go there, stick to that. Seriously...stick to that.
Oh. And if the kid who waited on us reads this, I accidentally stiffed you for your tip. Didn't know the girly didn't leave one until about 10 minutes ago. Sorry.Jun 30, 2012Previous reviewThe GIrly and I had errands to run this morning and she was feeling a little wonky. So we stopped here for breakfast. Just before we did that, she mentioned how waffles sounded great. Since I've been trying the low carb thing during the week, something about waffles really set me off craving some.
Of course, they don't have waffles. :( And nothing else sounded good to me, so I stuck with coffee.
The Girly got coffee, french toast and a side of bacon.
Total for her meal and my coffee? 4.95 cents.
The waitstaff was excellent. I haven't been called baby to many times by a woman under 30 in a decade. They also have some of the most evil smelling and looking donuts I've seen in some time(In a goooood way).
If I had to come up with a negative, it was that they had the history channel on the TV where everyone could see it. Looking up from your food, you got to see images of people shot in the head, bleeding, missing limbs etc.
Not the best breakfast-time viewing. That and the lack of waffles/pancakes is worth one point off. I want some WAFFLES, DANGIT!
I would recommend this place to anyone who's a breakfast fan. These people really take good care of you and act like they don't mind doing it. - Kat M.Belle Chasse, LA20618May 14, 2017
First, this place is a mess. A dirty hole in the wall. And I know that doesn't always mean the place is bad, but in this case, you can judge this book by its cover. The tables are small, dirty, and crooked. Assume two meals will not fit comfortable on a table. The staff is slow and lacks any intent. The waitress is constantly taking smoke breaks. What should take 5 minutes to make takes 15. You'll even be waiting on a simple cup of coffee. Now to the food. Hash browns are covered in grease and raw. They're raw potato colored. Not brown, no crunch. Don't bother. Eggs are fine, as is the meat, the biscuts are good but the gravy has no flavor. Even the donuts are weak. I hate this place and i can't wrap my head around why so many people like it. I will never eat here again.
