I called and spoke to Simon

I called and spoke to Simon. He was very knowledgeable and informative. I really believe he did everything to give us the best offer we could get. I am 81 & my husband is 85 and a disabled American Veteran and so Simon went above & beyond giving us the best price he could. I would highly recommend Choice Home Warranty to my friends & family. Thank you Simon

Dealing with Choice wasn't an issue

Dealing with Choice wasn't an issue. I was able to report the leaking water heater and within days a replacement was approved. The challenge I encountered was with the vendor who slowed the replacement process by now sending the appropriate approval emails for me to pay the addtional cost (permits, etc.).

I recently had a fantastic experience with Platinum AC Inc. after placing a claim through Choice Home Warranty. The next day, Alex M. arrived to assess my system. He quickly identified that the freon pressure was low and efficiently added 1lb of freon. The service was prompt, professional, and resolved the issue perfectly. Highly recommend Alex M. and Platinum AC Inc. for their excellent and timely service!

Winston Door: technician - Peter

The technician, Peter, from Winston Door, did a great job replacing and realigning the broken garage door springs and cables. He worked late to make sure my door was functional before I had to have heart surgery the following morning.
My only frustration is the policy of Choice to only pay for one broken spring. Obviously the second spring, which was also replaced by Winston Door, was aged and subject to failure in the near future. A balanced spring system is a normal replacement procedure.

The job is not complete

The job is not complete. The toilet is still running on this Monday, 8/12/24. There is a simple part the repairmen say they are waiting on to come from CHW (ETA 2weeks) which does not make sense to me since the part can be purchased for $10 or less from Home Depot. Two visits have been made on this job.

I never knew how important a home…

I never knew how important a home warranty was until my AC unit went out! I promise you all I will forever keep a home warranty with you guys and most definitely recommend you all to others. You all didn't take long at all my claim was approved within 24 hours and I so appreciate that!! If you know summers in South Carolina living without AC is a nightmare, so thank you all for moving quickly and taken care of me! I appreciate you

Slow service, low replacement price

My original request was in late June. The service was not completed until August 8. The first technician was a no-show (July 5). Three days later, after the second technician came, the first tech called to make an appointment. But I was unaware that the job had been put out for a second opinion so mentioned their no-show on the 5th. Then, it took over a month to find someone to give a second opinion. When he did (August 8), the resulting offer came in at about 75% of what a replacement is going to cost us.

No one has any information

No one has any information. When requesting a repair you're sent an email with the Technicians contact information on it. When I tried contacting the Tech to get an estimated time of arrival. The office picked up to say they didn't know who the Technician was so they couldn't tell me anything. Once I had a question regarding making payment arrangements for the repair. The "Case Manager" couldn't tell me anything other than to call the Technician. This is RIDICULOUS!!! I can't see where there is a discount being provided nor why there is value in this warranty! We will be canceling and warning all our friends and family about the scam that is Choice Home Warranty!

Great Experience

The sales person answer all my questions in a professional manner. He was warm and caring and did his very best to give me the best coverage at an affordable price. He was knowledgeable and kind. That means a lot when you are spending your money as a retiree.

The1st person(Male) who spoke to me…

The1st person(Male) who spoke to me today was very rude and impatient. He actually hung up the phone before I finished speaking to him. He was not a very good listener either.
I proceeded to call another warranty company and paid for their service. The person I spoke to was very helpful & pleasant.

First tike use the CHW home Warranty for a claim.ai

This is the first time we made an appliance claim request. Because the claim system is automated, I could not give any details about the issue with our refrigerator, only general info. Because the appliance wasn't cooling properly, we considered this an "urgent" need, we were frustrated that it took over a day to get a response of an appointment by a service technician. And that appointment was in seven more days! Unacceptable! I called the number given for the CHW Electronics Surgeon, whose location was ovwr an hour away. (He said no one closer to us was able to help us out. He did offer to do a video chat with us this evening, to gather the needed info so he could send a pre-diagnostic report to CHOICE Home Warranty. We.really appreciates his effort to help us out.

First Time User

This is my first claim with Choice Home Warranty.
My dishwasher wasn't working and CHW sent someone in one day to diagnose the problem and order the parts. I haven't had it repair yet but I am sure they will be as prompt with the rest of their service. So far a good experience.

Very very poor service

Very very poor service. Received a service appointment date 6X’s and the service company never showed up or called. I spent a lot of wasted time waiting for no show-up, not to mention, in some cases, lost time from work.
Finally when a tech comes out to the house, takes your deductible, reports the problem with Choice and Choice denies the claim. Choice denied the claim because according to the appeals manager, it was a pre-existing condition. Choice response was the control panel started deteriorating before the policy started, but the control panel failed after the policy start date. I wish I can understand Choices decision. Everything in the house is slowly deteriorating. It’s just part of using the system or appliances.

Mr. Jim Misaofi, if you read any of these comments, you have a lot a changing to do with your company. I would definitely not recommend this service, and I probably should cancel.

The service technician that came to our home was courteous, professional and explained everything to us in simple terms. He identified the issue, ordered the replacement part and scheduled the return visit. We are very happy with his service

Don't buy warranty from Choice Home…

Don't buy warranty from Choice Home Warranty. When you need them, they will make the process of getting equipment fixed extremely tedious. They will do anything they can to earn as much money of you as possible.

My AC broke down in the middle of the summer. After 10 days and 2 no shows of CHW technicians, I called my own technician and got it fixed the same day. I did not get refunded by CHW.

Just don't do it...

On my very first claim was denied…

On my very first claim was denied because it was stated due to a pest problem. The repair person did not report the damage was caused by pest but faulty. The images shows rat poop on the ground but the ignition module was not damaged but only not working properly. So now I've lost $100 and now I have to seek repair service which is going to cost $500 to replace and repair. I have two houses with choice warranty and I will be shopping around for a new home warranty for my properties and cancel as soon as I have a replacement. Thanks for nothing choice warranty. Took my monthly payments and screwed me in the end.
