Just arrived in the desert for some much-needed serenity. Lacey’s body is really feeling the chemo, and some time under the clear night sky will hopefully provide a little respite.
If “Everybody’s in LA” was John Mulaney’s audition for a late night talk show, he absolutely aced it. More please!
Ferrari’s upgrades at Imola are looking on point. Red Bull looking shaky. Optimistic for a strong performance by the Scuderia. Would love to see Lando do well too.

I was unable to be present this year at #PyConUS, but as a caregiver for a spouse enduring chemotherapy, it really warms my heart to feel properly seen and supported.
If it weren’t for Lando’s charge at the end, that would have been quite the boring race. Instead, we got a thrilling finish! This season is getting very interesting, indeed. Three top teams who, with the right track and a little luck, can win a Grand Prix. #F1
My ten year old had a substitute teacher at school today. When I picked him up, he was really excited to share that the substitute teacher was “awesome” because he taught the class some Python code. Guess who is hooked on programming now? 🐍👦🏼
Really enjoyed snuggling up with the family tonight and watching the finale of Survivor season 46. This show created a category and continues to be the best manifestation of “reality TV.”
We still watch The Amazing Race, but this season was my least favorite in a long while. It doesn’t come close to the enduring format of Survivor.

After hours and hours of awesome game play, I think I am ready to close the book on Horizon Forbidden West. What a game.
Now, what to play next? I’m considering Baldur’s Gate 3, Lies of P, Ghosts of Tsushima, and Starfield. Any others I should consider? What would you choose?
Watched the new Netflix series “Tires” last night. Some real laugh out loud moments, but it’s definitely not high brow humor. Shane Gillis can be really funny, but he’s not for everyone as he rides a pretty fine line between outrage and observation.
Today was my first time using MultiViewer for F1 to watch a Grand Prix. I had the main international feed largest, with Charles’ onboard feed and radio unmuted in second position. Then Carlos and Lando onboards, the data feed, and the track overview. Epic. Yet another use for my gaming PC being hooked up to my projector. 130” of racing!
