    Thanks for listening to the new stuff... We appreciate it... Driving to the venue today... Every street is full of memories... We wrote this song there... We recorded that one there... I broke up a fight over there... Things have changed a little bit... Sometimes, maybe a lot... But this has been our home, well for some of us, more than 30 years... 33 years... I'm a new guy at 33... It's nice because when I take the kids to school sometimes... I say: Oh, see that little apartment building?... That's where they filmed Singles... I'll tell you how cool my daughters are... Damn, if they don't act interested... I mean they really pretend like it means something... Oh cool, dad... Cool... That's all it takes... And then two weeks later: Oh this is where... Oh yeah you filmed Singles... Yeah, OK I remember... But it's always been a point of pride to be part of the music community in this city... And the artistic community... And I hope we've represented this town well to the rest of the world over the years... It really has been like a dream that we're still up here... ~ Eddie Vedder
