What's the First nation word for vegetarian? Bad hunters.

I clicked one of the links to the non-profits and was surprised to find that Planned Parenthood supports abortion. For some reason in my mind they were pro-pregnancy only back when they used to have ads on buses?

^ I like tour opening night where Ed wipes tears while singing "the water will find its' way". Great juxtaposition.

Thanks you've been really great in this thread, as always. Your article points out that gender really matters in boxing because males upper bodies can punch the ball back better. I'd argue that's exactly what that goalie did to the ball that they (note the correct pronoun usage SC) were able to reach being a head taller…

Oh wow Ed did that dog facey shaking with the bone thing way back then too hahaha 😋

You think Ed recorded this one with Tom's guitar he was gifted?

Awww.... I have little ducks that come visit my boat when they're hungry Also your lake looks super flat and I want to ski that 😆

I bought a treadmill for the kid. Her team thinks they should run 10 km a week. This is an awesome idea to throw out there during the high 30s summer weather. /Sarcasm emoji/🤣/roll eyes I mostly just let her play and swim and tube and water ski and water slide and stand up paddle board and toss the football around. I'm not…

I'm learning how to read clouds for boating. And weather, I've been paying much more attention to, even though I'm on a small lake this year. It's cooling down here (bye heat wave #2) so that means thunder and that means fire and that means smoke. taking the good days 😄 Oh yeah - even though it's Midsummer the leaves are…

Wow, we're all on the similar ice cold kicks! I've been sucking on a freezy treat 😊

Yay Sweden. The Canadian women* soccer teams got the boot after their boot couldn't boot it in during penalty kicks. *And Quinn - non binary

I just had a birthday lunch with my sister. I bought her her favorite and she picked out banana cream cake. It sounds all peachy and rosy but she was on the nod and her head almost hit her food plate.

Thanks. I'll order it from the library. I appreciate you advocating for the preferred gendered terms and pronouns for everyone. There's a book mad honey by an author living in Kamloops, BC, on the traditional, unceded territory of the Secwepemc people about forgotten memories and keeping family together. And another one…

Some of the sports accept gendered transitioned people if they transition before puberty. I didn't even know children were allowed to transition that early except maybe intersex? Maybe that's Euro stuff?

https://nationalpost.com/feature/transgender-inclusion-rules-paris-2024-olympics Each sport makes up their own rules.

So my question to you SC was Olympics have transgender females playing with the females? Anyways I guess I can look that up.
-
Hey, I resemble that comment

Sure about that

True but it's not everyday a genetic boy hurts a girl at a provincial level of play. I think the point was made earlier in the discussion that perhaps the force on ball hit by that person would be greater than a genetic female. Or even the height difference: that person might have not stuck the ball back that smoked Pip…

That time you're wording made me giggle. I didn't think you would ever talk like this I was surprised. That's a human being lol

^ SC, So my daughter shouldn't play BC soccer if she doesn't want to play against a U14 XY chromosomal female identifying child that injured her. That's what you're saying, that's what the coach said, and that's what BC soccer says. And it sounds like the Olympics are okay with it, too? I'm not saying she doesn't want to…

^ Ed in grease sounds like a dream come true.

Finally, Pipsqueak didn't have any concussions symptoms in the last week during her activities (which were super fun and awesome)! Her doctor might clear to play soccer again next week.

Watched the Canada women's soccer team games today, having been offline the last few days, what, we were docked 6 points, or 2 game wins, for drones flying above NZ practices? (A new team with an easy to beat reputation.) The stadium was mostly empty for the Canada and New Zealand match but when Canada played France it…

Way to go Hobbes, ma dear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made it back to my favorite CAmpout. I did 13 loads of kids skiing and tubing the last few days! Great to give back!

I can't really tell you what the plot of Singles is, but I can tell you that movie had a killer soundtrack. Sometimes, I play this song to feel dreamy about Ed singing "why don't you hold me and kiss me now". na nah nah nah nah na nah nah nah nah

This sounds like a tomorrow problem 😄

I guess the coach feels that if a player doesn't feel safe, he won't play them and that's that. I don't think anyone in the organization wants to stand up to BC soccer.
