That's very cool! Dinosaur Jr. live is spectacular. They are one of those bands that, as good as the boots or live recordings are, must be experienced first hand to fully understand. The vibe, energy and crushing SPLs just don't translate to recorded media. It's really great that they're doing this!

I got the strobe working today. This one is coming along nicely. So far, nothing has been too difficult to deal with. Definitely simpler than the Dual idler drive record changer models.

I actually didn't sand them at all. I washed them with water and a white rag. Kept at it until no more stuff was coming off them and the rag stayed white. After that, I used a product called "Howard's Feed and Wax". Just wipe it on, rub it in and buff with a clean cloth. That stuff is miraculous! I've been using it on…
