I have a question are there other Oliver! movies?

Yes, there are. There are 1968 (original), 1982 and a 2005 version. How do I know that? I watched them of course you cool people out there.
Later TV movies and films copied some of the abridged elements that Bart did.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.45.224.55 (talk) 18:21, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone found you've got to pick a pocket or two on a channel except maiza

[edit]

You've got to pick a pocket or two on YouTube (shoutout to maiza ). Has anyone been able to find the source for this? I've found numerous places that provide the same information (with extremely similar wording), but no original source. Without a source, this information is weak. It seems a little unlikely that any director would cast an unknown kid from a singer-rich population in a featured musical role after extensive cattle-call auditions without being certain that the kid could carry the part. Not impossible, of course, but I'd like a source. Any ideas? 74.131.138.22 (talk) 17:36, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it was first reported on ABC News - Australian Broadcasting Corporation - and I believe there is a picture of Kath Green dubbing with the "Oliver" being projected behind her. The two boys who did the initial singing/dubbing were often on set out of camera range. Mark Lester was not unknown at the time - but yes they did cast him even though his singing and dancing left something to be desired - watch him dance in the "Consider Yourself" song - especially at the end.

Plot

[edit]

It seems as if the article's plot section is overlong and full of potentially unnecessary detail; the lack of frequent paragraphing does not help this. Is there any way this section can be improved? Hayal12 (talk) 17:42, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Hayal12[reply]
