PDF/VT-3 is now published

[edit]

I’d like to propose the addition of a paragraph immediately after the bullet list on the PDF/VT page:

In November 2020 a new PDF/VT conformance level, PDF/VT-3, was published as ISO 16612-3:2020 (https://www.iso.org/standard/75218.html). PDF/VT-3 is based on PDF/X-6 (ISO 15930-9 - https://www.iso.org/standard/77103.html), which, in turn, is based on PDF 2.0 (ISO 32000-2:2020 - https://www.iso.org/standard/75839.html). A key benefit of being based on PDF 2.0 is the ability to make use of “page-level output intents” for variable data print jobs using multiple different substrates (https://www.loc.gov/preservation/digital/formats/fdd/fdd000474.shtml, https://www.globalgraphics.com/globalgraphics-software/impact-of-pdf-2-0-on-print-production).
