Absolutely, please do, and thanks for asking.

I would suggest that folks be encouraged to add their own lyrics as well. wes

I clipped this from the article page, where should it go? j-beda 15:22, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changes there's a line that is a bit longer in my version.
"and forgetting my mother's maiden name, and I can name files with ampersands and spaces and colons 'cuz you'll fix it all for me!"
What i have is something close to that, you might want to check it though.

Our companies are celebrating this holliday since it was founded in 2006. Vega.

Fidelity National Title

[edit]
"Fidelity National Title, located at 2510 Red Hill in Santa Ana, voted 42 - 0 to NOT celebrate this day for unknown reasons."

I don't mean to be pedantic here, but what significance does some fortune500 company have for deciding not to celebrate the holiday and why is it in the article? Am I misreading the sentence, or missing the point of it? I can see that it might be worthwhile to expand on the fact that it is not a nationally acknowledged holiday, but this seems out of place.Forgotten Lords (talk) 22:09, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just about to ask the same thing; seems very much out of place. Surely there are thousands of companies that don't celebrate it. GideonJones (talk) 23:06, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neologism complaint

[edit]

A moment with Google turns up two print sources:

And at least one union promoting it:

Seems to meet the notability guidelines. Please don't AfD - Will work the aforementioned into the article shortly. MrZaiustalk 14:39, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note that it probably would be a good idea to nine-six the song. As the article isn't specifically about the filky little diddy, it should be probably be moved offsite or to WikiBooks. MrZaiustalk 14:40, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, two of the print sources that you have cited are blogs, and as such, not really reliable sources. I would prefer to leave the {{notability}} tag up until some more bona fide sources can be found. - Tiswas(t) 09:49, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Would someone please explain "nine-six"? Or is it just a mistake for "eighty-six", like "diddy" for "ditty"? --Thnidu (talk) 05:34, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Original poster of the SysAdminDay Song

[edit]

The original poster of the SysAdminDay Song was the author of the song. Check the article history, and you will see it was original inserted by Wes.

Two points - One, it was hardly relevant. Any editor could coin a poem about any topic and post it to the associated article if the above was an adequate rationale for the post. Two, an edit summary is hardly proof of ownership. MrZaiustalk 01:03, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
