population

[edit]

The article says that the population of Topanga is 12,000, but http://www.topangaonline.com/vitals.html says it's 5,500. Jeremymiles 08:29, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

History/culture

[edit]

We shouldn't delete info from history just because it covers cultural events. I'm sure we can reduce duplication without also removing good material. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 04:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was my intention to move info that is culture related or pertinent to that category to the culture section, and find a single place for info that was duplicate. Is there something else you recommend?--Jackbirdsong 03:58, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wish there was some more info on the history part. There is no info between 1839-1920. Was this part of a Spanish or Mexican land grant? Also I have heard that Topanga means "sweat lodge" and the Tongva men used to sweat in there then jump into the water in the creek. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:6481:7100:F08D:DD62:6E4B:433A (talk) 01:46, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics

[edit]

The "ethnic composition" list seems wildly out of place in this article. I suggest it be deleted altogether. Alannyny (talk) 23:27, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
