Psychoanalytic

[edit]

I've removed this because, so far as I know, this is not a recognized form of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I stand to be corrected, of course, but I'd like to see confirmation from a mainstream psychoanalytic body. SlimVirgin (talk) 11:41, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is technically classed as psychoanalytic mostly because it is one of the second-generation therapies derived by Freud's students. It is certainly not mainstream psychoanalysis. Such naming is not rigorously defined. David spector (talk) 20:15, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Additional therapeutic details

[edit]

I've added a number of additional therapeutic details, to give a better flavor of how vegetotherapy works in practice, including intervention techniques, typical patient reactions, and criteria for improvement. When I get time, I intend to add references for each such addition. Anyone who wishes to verify them before then may consult the teaching notes for Orgonomists (Reichian psychotherapists). Copies are, of course, owned by all Reichian psychotherapists, and may also be available from the College of Orgonomy or in publications or journals.
