Charlie Sheen: Ashton Kutcher okay, 'Two and a Half Men' sucks

Four days after blasting his Two and a Half Men replacement Ashton Kutcher, Charlie Sheen posted an open letter of apology to Kutcher on his website:

Dear Ashton-

My bad.

I was disrespectful to a man doing his best.

I got excited and threw you into a crossfire.

The rest of my statement I stand behind.

You, however, deserve better.

Safety in your travels good sir.

Sheen has engaged in a serious of tempestuous interactions with Men and its creator Chuck Lorre, who himself called Sheen's attacks on the show "unthinkable." After demonstrating contrition at last September's Emmys and keeping relatively quiet throughout the fall, it appears Sheen couldn't hold his tongue anymore. Notably, even though he backtracked on his statements about Kutcher, it seems Sheen's ill will towards Lorre and Men's writers is still considerable.

Could Sheen's latest attempt at damage control could be a result of his impending return to work? With casting for his new FX sitcom Anger Management nearly complete, he is scheduled to being filming the show on March 22.
