A 'Clueless' reunion on ABC's 'Suburgatory'

Alicia Silverstone finally gets to smooch former costar (and teen crush) Jeremy Sisto on the ABC sitcom

Elton is finally going to get a little action from Cher. (Sorry again, Tai!) Nearly 17 years after Alicia Silverstone and Jeremy Sisto played frenemies in 1995’s iconic teen flick Clueless, the duo are coming back together on ABC’s Wednesday-night comedy Suburgatory. Starting April 18, the actress will join the show for a four-episode arc as Eden, an organics-obsessed love interest for Sisto’s suburban father George. ”We were joking about how we finally get to kiss,” Silverstone says. ”We had crushes on each other back then. I’m sure if we’d been single at the time, we would have had a romance. Let’s put it that way.” George meets Eden at the farmers’ market, and things move quickly from there. ”Eden is connected to another family on the show in a very unique and intimate way,” Sisto teases, ”but it’s completely coincidental that George meets her.” And how do the two ladies already in George’s life — daughter Tessa (Jane Levy) and potential girlfriend Dallas (Cheryl Hines) — react to it all? Just as you might expect. ”Tessa’s mocking me at every turn,” Silverstone says with a laugh, ”and my presence obviously pisses Dallas off.”
