Radiohead stage collapse kills one, injures three

One person was killed and three people were injured as a stage collapsed before a Radiohead concert in Toronto, according to a report from Canada’s CBC News.

The concert was set to take place at Toronto’s Downsview Park, which sent out a message via its Twitter account at about 5 p.m. ET that the show has been cancelled. “Radiohead concert cancelled,” the message said. “There has been an incident, more details forthcoming.” Gates to the show were set to open at 5 p.m. ET, so it’s likely that those injured and killed were somehow involved with putting on the show.

A post on Radiohead’s website said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances the radiohead show at downsview park tonight has been cancelled. Fans are advised not to make their way to the venue. Refunds will be made at point of purchase. Further information is to follow.”

EW reached a Radiohead spokesperson, who had no comment or further details at this time. We will update this news as more details become available.
