Miley Cyrus on 'Two and a Half Men': Bringing sexy back

Miley Cyrus made a seductive guest appearance on tonight’s episode of Two and a Half Men. While the story line centered around her character’s young age, the episode ultimately showcased how far the actress has come since her Disney days. Sporting a bikini and beach blonde pixie cut, it was clear that the 19-year-old is more of a fox now than a mouse.

Cyrus plays Missi (“short for Mississippi — the river, not the state”), the daughter of one of Walden’s old friends. Walden takes her in for a few days when she comes to town to consider moving to Los Angeles and finds himself both annoyed by and attracted to the loquacious, buxom teen. He thinks the feeling of attraction is mutual until Missi confesses her plans to set him up with her mother.

Tonight’s episode also marked Jake’s brief return from the army. He comes home for the weekend to finds the Butthead to his Beavis — a.k.a. dim-witted Missi. While Missi and Jake spark up a romance, Walden is left feeling old and senile (his memory is failing him). He doesn’t want to sleep with his friend’s daughter, who he’s watched grow up, he just wants to know that he’s still got it. As Missi says, “Eeew!” Before she leaves, she ends up breaking Jake’s heart as well. She decides to get back together with her boyfriend, who she was taking a break from, and return home — emasculating one and a half men without batting an eye.

In her first return to sitcom television since starring in Hannah Montana, Cyrus proved that she can still draw laughs. The role as a Southern chatterbox may not be too different from her everyday persona, but Cyrus nevertheless brought charm to a character who’s unlikable on paper. Hopefully, we’ll start hearing more about her future acting roles and less about her wardrobe choices or relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth in the coming years. Here are some of Missi’s best lines:

“Can you direct me to the little girl’s room? Unless one of y’all was recently stung by a jellyfish.”“I let him make out with me one time, but he didn’t take.”

“Well, don’t forget to rub-a-dub-dub.”

“Do you mind if I take the girls out? Get some color on Kim and Khloe?

“It’s like a doughnut, but long and Mexican.”

What did you think of Cyrus’ guest spot? Would you want her to make another appearance or did she talk your ear off?
