'Almost Human' Comic-Con poster: Flesh meets tech

One of the most anticipated new fall shows is getting a striking poster to promote the series at Comic-Con next week.

Fox’s Almost Human is set 35 years in the future when LAPD officers are paired up with life-like androids, and stars Karl Urban (Star Trek) and Michael Ealy (2 Fast 2 Furious). The poster (full image below) shows android Dorian’s (Ealy) neck plugged into a device. The close-up of his skin, neck and ear helps emphasize Dorian’s humanity, and then pairs it with the cold and vaguely sinister electronics.

If you’re going to Comic-Coin next week, Warner Bros. is screening the Almost Human pilot Wednesday night, along with several The CW titles. Then there’s an Almost Human panel with the stars and showrunner J.H. Wyman at 4 p.m. on Friday in Ballroom 20. Almost Human premieres Monday, Nov. 4.
